Sublime is different to the church you are likely to associate or be familiar with. We do not hold regular Sunday "Worship" services that you come to expect from a traditional/mainstream church. We are forming communities of people around in different areas, meeting at all different times, days and places. These communities are church.
We are a group of disciples of Jesus who take the Great Commission seriously;
“19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28
What that means for us is that we are disciples who make disciples. This allows for new communities of faith (or simple churches) to happen as a result.
"Sublime Christian Community exists to cultivate communities of people shaped by the Bible story to communicate the gospel in the context of community, where every person is exercising ministry and working for city renewal."
Sublime believes church is not an event or performance to attend but a community on mission in the Gospel of Jesus. We want to keep free from the performance-oriented, surface-only religious lifestyle, but rather, true-to-the-core life lived out in biblical communities of real people.
